Movenpick Prince Abbas Lake Nasser Cruise is designed around the confirmed route, your travel dates and a clearly itemised service package. Lake Nasser departures connect Aswan and Abu Simbel, not Luxor.

Use this itinerary to plan the experience that fits your party. Tell us your dates, hotel or arrival point and any practical requirements, and receive a written quotation before deciding. The programme separates included services from optional extras so you can compare the full cost and choose the pace that works for you.

Published competitor pattern checked on 7 September 2026: Monday from Aswan for the four-night direction; Friday from Abu Simbel for the three-night direction. These are research references, not live supplier availability. The base price below is for three nights. Four nights require a separate quotation.

The itinerary below is a proposed booking programme, subject to matching the vessel’s current operating plan. Request the actual departure date, pier, cabin and included services in writing. This listing does not claim an independently verified bestseller rank.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1 · Abu Simbel embarkation

Meet in Abu Simbel, embark and settle into the confirmed cabin. The transfer from Aswan is not included in this three-night base fare. Lunch and dinner are aboard.

Travel by the confirmed road route to Abu Simbel and visit the temples of Ramesses II and Nefertari. Allow meaningful time on site rather than treating the long journey as a photo stop. Departure and return depend on road arrangements and security instructions; the programme never guarantees a private or crowd-free temple.

Day 2 · Lake passage and Amada

Cruise toward the planned landing area, with visits determined by the vessel’s operating programme. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are aboard; overnight at the assigned mooring.

Visit the accessible temple group in the Amada area during the confirmed Lake Nasser sailing. The landing sequence is controlled by the vessel and local permissions. Take care on uneven ground and return to the boat at the crew’s stated time so the cruise can continue safely.

Day 3 · Wadi El Seboua area

Continue north through the lake landscape. Allow a flexible shore schedule because water access and permissions govern landings. Overnight aboard with full-board meals.

Go ashore for the monuments in the Wadi El Seboua area when landing is permitted. Your guide sets the surviving buildings within the story of Nubian relocation. Heat, exposed paths and access conditions influence the pace, and a water landing cannot be guaranteed on every departure.

Day 4 · Kalabsha and Aswan disembarkation

After breakfast, complete the final permitted visit and disembark in the Aswan area. The exact order is confirmed by the ship; allow a buffer before onward transport.

Cross to the relocated Kalabsha temple area using the confirmed boat service. Explore the monuments open to visitors and learn about the wider Nubian salvage story. Water access and operating arrangements are more limited than a central Aswan walk, so this stop must be checked before confirmation.

Price and booking basis

Indicative regular price: US$599 per adult sharing a twin/double room or cabin, 3 nights.

Indicative regular base rate in USD, proposed for standard non-holiday dates and subject to written confirmation before booking. No live availability is implied. Christmas, New Year, Easter and the August 2027 eclipse period require a separate quotation. There is no fabricated discount or crossed-out comparison price.

Children’s ages, solo occupancy, additional passengers and accessibility arrangements are quoted individually. Required extras are disclosed before payment; an enquiry does not reserve inventory.

Pickup and practical details

In Aswan, boats and road transport often need to be coordinated. A central hotel, an island property and a West Bank guesthouse can involve different meeting arrangements. Send the full address and ask who organises any river crossing. An Abu Simbel excursion also needs a workable road schedule, especially when a cruise departs later the same day. Avoid treating a published itinerary as proof that a particular ship or transfer is available on your date.

Please provide the full hotel name, arrival details and a contact number that works during travel. Tell us about mobility needs, dietary restrictions and children’s ages before confirmation. No specific accessibility, language upgrade or special venue access is assumed without agreement.

Cancellation

Cancel in writing at least 24 hours before the confirmed service start for a full refund of the amount paid to Wow Travel Egypt for that service. The cutoff uses the local time shown in your confirmation. For a multi-day booking, the cutoff is measured from the start of the whole booking.

Frequently asked questions

Does an enquiry confirm my booking?

No. We confirm the date, services and total price in writing before a reservation is accepted. Do not book dependent transport on the basis of an indicative rate alone.

Are entrance fees included?

Use the inclusions above and your written quotation. Standard cultural admission and special tickets are excluded unless specifically listed; activity admission such as the booked boat or beach pass follows its own inclusion list.

Can the route be adapted?

Tell us your priorities before confirmation. Changes may affect price, transport or the available time. A safety or access restriction cannot be overridden by a request.
