Prior to... read more coming I knew I wanted to hit the major sites, i.e. pyramids in Giza and the temples in Luxor; one doesn't travel to Egypt to not see these historical marvels, but I was hoping to add an experience that was unique a part from the expected visits. A hot air balloon ride through WOWTravel provided me with just that. If you're short on time like I was, I'd highly recommend this experience. It allows you to see the East and West Bank of Luxor from a bird's-eye-view, as well as the Valley of Kings. This early morning experience takes advantage of seeing the city in the picture-perfect light of the sunrise, while also avoiding the rest of the day's heat. Added to this an agency that truly cares about the quality of their travelers' experience, I'd say it was the best time of my eight days in Egypt.
