Entering a pyramid can be memorable, but steep passages, enclosed spaces and physical effort are part of the decision. The outside visit remains worthwhile if interior access is not right for you.
Check the ticket for the particular pyramid, the current opening status and your comfort with the access route. Tell the guide before arrival if you plan to remain outside.
Do not assume a general Giza or Dahshur ticket includes every interior. Special admissions and closures need separate confirmation.
In Cairo, select the hotel area and daily route together. A Giza-focused day and a historic-city walk can require very different transfers. Allow time for traffic, entry procedures and a meal break, and confirm the current opening arrangements directly before travel. Airport pickup requires flight information and legal entry eligibility; a sightseeing reservation does not resolve visa or transit requirements. For religious sites, choose respectful clothing and follow the instructions given at each entrance.
