Start with a twelve-day route and add nights where your interests are strongest. Archaeology enthusiasts may want more Luxor time, while families may prefer the Red Sea buffer.
Do not add a distant attraction just because two days remain. Check the round-trip travel time and whether the activity duplicates something already included.
In Cairo, select the hotel area and daily route together. A Giza-focused day and a historic-city walk can require very different transfers. Allow time for traffic, entry procedures and a meal break, and confirm the current opening arrangements directly before travel. Airport pickup requires flight information and legal entry eligibility; a sightseeing reservation does not resolve visa or transit requirements.
